Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
